An article by Katya Kazakina, published by the Bloomberg agency, reveals that Picasso was overtaken by Zhang Daqian on the art auction market, according to Artprice.

In 2011, the Chinese artist, who died in 1983 (10 years after Picasso), reached about $506 Million in the auction house revenue, 38,51 % more than Picasso whose artwork was sold for $312 Million.
